Re: PPT Bay 101 thread

Has anyone ever seen Hoyt Corkins make a GOOD play? Every single had of substance I've seen him in, in every tourney I can remember, involves him putting in most or all of his chips as a huge underdog and then catching cards to win.

Actually, I thought Hoyt played pretty well. Of course he was a big dog against the aces with JJ but man he made some ballsy calls (ie with 88 on the KXX board). He also appeared to be extremely polite and well-mannered (more than I remember him being from other shows)
LEE KORT (i think that was him ~ looks like Phil Jackson): OK was this guy drunk or what?? Did you see him stumble around as he got up from the table? What a meltdown~ chipleader to out in two consecutive hands (televised hands). That was about as bad a blowup as there can be. Theory? drunk.. not just tired
Magrill: For some reason this guy always got on my nerves in the past, but he didnt this go around. I dig his KQ river call at the bubble table.
Bigler: finally this dude doesn't get lucky. After he lost his coinflip to get knocked out, he had to say "the better hand didnt win.." lame
