For me, it was a peritonsullar abcess. Picture a golfball sized lump on your right tonsil, that ypu can clearly see in the mirro because it pushes your uvula over to the left side. I couldn't move my neck or head, couldn't eat, could barely drink anything because swallowing was insanely painful.

To swallow I had to prep myself, and then kick as hard as a could with my right foot to help me swallo. Don't ask me how it worked but it did.

When I went to the hospital finally, they couldn't numb my mouth to drain it, so the doctor stuck a syringe down my throat to drain the pus out of the abcess, while two nurse dudes held me down because the gag reflex was making the doctor miss the abcess and stick the back of my throat.

And I couldn't smoke for the whole time I had it. Sucked major balls.
