I'm pretty sure the villain in this hand was fsuplayer from one of his previous posts where he said his party name.
I usually fold this pf, to be honest I'm not really sure why I called here, although I don't think its that bad either way.

I lead for 110, folds to fsu, he makes it 310. Does he raise AK/ air here enough for a push to be profitable? I pushed, but afterwards I realized that most players probably smooth call most big aces here.

It aint that bad, the effective stacks being 140ish bb makes this spot a little different than your standard get it all in w/ a big draw in these spots is "mathematically inexploitable" situation (credit Scdavis). I dont mind it. The problem is mainly that if you check call he can fold any hand you get $$ from when you hit for the most part, if you Check raise less than all in its goofy b/c you open yourself ot a 3 bet you have to call when behind, if you CR all in its a bit too nasty (although i might do it occasionally). Calling the raise leaves you OOP in a bigish pot where you wont likely hit and if you do its hard to win more $$$. ALl these things kinda just show (which you guessed) why pf calling is pretty tough. Im more likely to play these big draws in these spots a bit slower and more straight foward.
FSU might be raising here w/ AJ/AQ etc and you can have some FE so dont be too hard on yourself if he instacalled w/ a set. Also, im going to go out on a limb here. while ive played some w/ FSU, not enough to know for sure, but his flop raise seems a bit small for a set raise for value thingy.
