TB, I don't have any disagreement with your main points. It makes a ton of sense that people who are going to do the research about these bonuses and find out about stuff that is not common knowledge are likely to make more money by not saying anything about them. However, there are also many people who have no interest or motivation (financial or otherwise) to spend any time finding out about such offers. For people in that camp, which is the case for many people here (especially those who are successful poker players), it's definitely in their best interest to have every big bonus opportunity posted about.
I think this is simply a case where your personal financial interests are not at all aligned with the majority of people on this forum.
