The things I like about Austin are
-hip music scene, and general culture scene
-easy to walk / bike around
-lots and lots of beautiful college-aged women
-great scenery / countryside ([img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hill Country)
-nice weather, if you don't mind heat

Houston has basically none of these. It's ugly, polluted, humid, corporate, concrete, with no nature or mass transporation, and as far as the college girls go, I've been telling people my school motto is "Rice University: Where a 6 Can Be a 10."

I've been thinking about doing the same thing whether or not I move to another city. I pretty much decided I wanted the option not to see anybody that day if I didn't want to.
