I've been so lazy at work lately, but no one seems to mind or notice. I'm getting my annual review one of these days....just wish it was over with.

Yesterday, I covered the swamp cooler...it's been getting cold in the mornings. Can't wait to build some fires in the fireplace.

I haven't played chess in months. That is weird to me. But I really don't miss it.

Things with my gf are great. She's a nerdy trekkie beer-loving football fan who can cook, and she's in shape (she does a lot of running....trying to get me into it.) We're going to some thing at the zoo on Friday with her parents. Her younger sister's getting married, and her fiancee gave me a mountain bike he's not using any more. Needs some fixing, but sweet.

I wish my best friend would finally find a good girl.
