Two of my finest moments happened in australia in 2005 when i qualified for the aussie million on pp. prior to the tournament i was playing in a 5/10 cash game two seats away from someone who was going to be wsop champ no sooner than six months later. I am in ep with a6 of clubs and i make a standard raise to 40 (aussie dollars [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]) and i get two callers with joe hashem being in the bb. The flop comes k64 rainbow. Joe checks to me, i bet 100, third player folds joe calls. I obviously know i am behind here, however the turn brings another six. Joe checks, and i make a huge overbet of all in knowing that he might have a strong king. He thinks a few seconds then calls. The river bricks and when i flip over a6, he starts cussing and shouting and calling me an idiot while micking his ak face up. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]The great part being not that i stacked him (who cares), but his furor following the hand.

The second great moment happened in the tournament. I had a decent size stack with around 70 players left from the inital 200 (around 35,000 opponent had around 30,000 inital chips 10,000). Opponent in late position raised to 3000 with blinds being 500/1000. I find t9 os in the bb and say i will take a flop against i guy i figured i could run over. To my joy, the flop comes tt2, i check and opponent checks also. The turn brings a harmless six. I check again, this time opponent bets out 4000. Once again i chose to use the overbet technique and i instantly reraised all in hoping that he will call with possibly an overpair or mid underpair (as you all know many people check that flop with overpairs to control pots) and the instant reraise i was hoping would smell of "BLUFF". To my demise, the guy instacalls and shows at. I was counting my chips when BAM a nine rivers. The guy gets up from his seat picks up his water bottle and smashes it on the floor. HAHAHA (dont really blame him)

Anyhow australia as a whole was a great experience, amazing place, and me and the group of guys that i became friendly with down there all ended up in the money so the night after the tourney we had a blast.
