I don't have any good poker moments that involve winning a lot of money so I will go with this:

Summer of 2003 and I was in Atlantic City for a bachelor party and decided to play hold'em in a casino for the first time. So I bailed on the drinking early and found my way to a 2/4 table at the Taj Mahal. I had just read Lee Jones book and watched some Varkonyi dude win a bunch of money on TV and figured it couldn't be that hard.

About the 4th hand I was dealt 55 and end up turning quads to bust up someone's top set. The dude was so mad after the hand he threw his cards directly in my face! I had no idea how to react and actually thought this might be commonplace! The table was dead silent. I guess they expected me to say something or curse or get up and leave.... but I just sat there and stacked my chips. The dealer finally said something and the guy apologized. We all had a good laugh and I was totally hooked. I think I wasted all of my suckout power in that one night though...
