Take it from the divorced guy: you need to address your relationship with your wife. Her online relationship is just a sign that she's looking for something she isn't getting from you.
Reading about this is giving me flashbacks. I didn't worry when my (now) ex-wife started chatting online. I thought she was chatting with friends in Puerto Rico. Later, she forgets to log out and I start getting IM's from some guy in Puerto Rico. It was in Spanish (she's bilingual, I'm not), but I understood enough. Once, I came down a little from the jealous rage, I realized that I had totally missed about a year's worth of hints that she wasn't getting what she needed from me. She had never met this guy in person, but he meant more to her at that point than I did.
Don't miss this opportunity to set things right. Be totally honest and talk to her about it. And get some counseling.
