This is probably NOT the problem. I am using PAHUD WITH the cache enabled and regulary updated and still have MAJOR problems while playing (80-95% cpu usage constantly). I use POSTGRES and compress my DBs everydag.
I doubt doubling the computation power you have (which is not the same as doubling the amount of memory you are using) will cut your current CPU usage with a factor of two.
Anyone know if full tilt is as CPU demanding?
