Default Re: Lisandro/Friedman feud (wordy)

[ QUOTE ]
Prahlad either
A) Really thought someone should stand up for the other dude if he had to put his ante in twice, since he was too meek to stand up for himself
B) Did it to intentionally mess with Lisandro's head.

Seemed kinda like B to me, since he made a big issue out of nothing.

By the time it was over it looks as though Lisandro was really rattled and ticked off. If you think having him rattled will serve you well at the table, then NH Prahlad.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, not NH. Thre are certain things that are considerably out of bounds as far as goading someone into tilt. Calling someone a cheat and a liar (especially on national televison) is one of them. If he continued to needle him over and over again in the exact same passive-aggressive manner about, say a previous hand where Lissandro was outplayed, that's one thing. Some would still call him a douche for it, but whatever. What Prahlad did was over the edge.

[ QUOTE ]
Honestly if I was in lisandro's shoes i would have let Prahlad say all he wanted and never responded even once.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what he did! The first time Prahlad mentioned it, he politely explained what happened. Even when Prahlad kept pressing it, he still behaved respectfully, and *was* mostly silent (if you're *too* quiet about it, you might appear guilty). Even the dealer was telling Prahlad to give it up, and he wouldn't. Finally yes, Lissandro blew his top, but it was completely understandable at that point.
