SS servers are up now. Make sure that your firewall isn't blocking SS. Also, if you are behind a proxy be sure to enter the proxy info in the SS options menu.

firstly thank you for the reply.

it is still not working though even with the servers up.

i know very little about computers. i may of changed a security setting, how would i change firewall or proxy info to correct this?

or could it be something on my SS settings have changed as it hasnt worked since i upgraded.

In Windows, go to your Control Panel, then select "Windows Firewall". Turn off the firewall, then see if SS works. If that fixes it, then you can turn your firewall back on, but then add SS in the "Exceptions list" on the 2nd tab.
