Re: Should I quit due to excessive bad beats???
Unfortunately, that's the way it goes. Just a few months ago I had a week where I played an MTT every night and got knocked out of every tourney on a bad beat within 7 spots of the bubble. That's no b.s., it's true. I was punching my computer screen and screaming curse words by the end of the week. I felt the same way you do, afraid to play my strong hands aggressively, because I knew I was gonna get sucked out on and lose even more $$, or get bumped from a tourney. I whined here on 2+2 and to anyone else who would listen. Eventually I made small tweaks to my game regarding my betting pattern, etc. I think I am better now because of it. Luck is a huge factor in the short run, but over time, the solid player will profit.
