As for the game - Texas's playcalling was pathetic. No idea why they decided to try to fix something that wasn't broken. Whoever calls the plays for them should be fired. Just pathetic. Colt played as I expected - like an inexperienced freshman. Their line was owning tOSU's, running was working just fine. I am still amazed the game came out as large of a deficit as it did (given what happened).

Smith looked good. A few passes that should have been caught that weren't. A few of his deep balls were off, but enough were on. Another game with no bad decisions. Kicking is pathetic, but at least one FG made it through.

Atmosphere - This was my first true away game to go to. Lots of Buckeyes there, so that made it fun. Most Texas fans were enjoyable, although there were enough morons. The pregame music on the speakers had to be the most annoying crap I've ever heard. The stadium seems to have been designed to have as few good seats as possible. I ended up in the corner of the end zone under Godzillatron, and watched most of the far side plays on it. Not showing replays of any good plays or penalties was rather annoying. Script Texas was one of the more pathetic things I've ever seen. It barely resembled letters. Stick to banging on that giant drum and shooting a cannon. After the game, a lot of "hook-ems". I guess they weren't watching the game. Pretty strange to see such cocky fans after getting spanked badly.

All in all- worth the $200 ($81 after I bet $100 on the money line).

Your analysis is pretty spot on, but I would have to say the OSU kicking game was great. Aside from the missed FG, their kickoffs and punts were perfect. Our return guys suck ass, but the kicks were still just awesome. Colt played fine for his first REAL game, and I was surprised he only threw one INT. The shoes of Vince Young aren't easy to fill, and he has been asked to. The only way Texas was going to win this game was by firing their offensive coordinator at halftime (Greg Davis) and bringing Vince Young back... OR JUST STICKING TO THE RUNNING GAME WHICH WASN'T STOPPED ONCE.... FOR SOME REASON THEY JUST FELT OBLIGATED TO THROW THE BALL... anyways, gg osu, yall own
