Thanks for the advice/encouragement/etc. I figured this older chick wanted me pretty bad but prolly wouldn't have had the balls to go for it w/o El D and ScottyP backing me. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
She sent me her # in some sort of riddle, e.g. "first digit is number of fingers on your hand, second is a number used in golf", etc. I called her just now. Convo went something like this:
Her: this is Lisa
Me: uh is this an answering machine?
Her: nope
Me: oh that's good. well i had a crack team of scientists working on your riddle 'round the clock, we finally managed to break it, via trial and error. had a bunch of wrong numbers so far
Her: *laugh* *freaking chat for an hour*
Me: so want to do something cliche like get coffee/drinks sometime?
Her: i'd love to!
So it's on for Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the date today went alright I guess. A refresher pic:
But, she really looks nothing like that. Her hair is shoulder-length and dark, and well she looks more like a woman not wearing a pull-over. Nothing spectacular, 'round a 5.5 or so.
We had scheduled to meet at 4:30 P.M. in some grocery store parking lot. She tried to bump it up a few times, even called at 3:30 P.M. and said she was ready whenever, but I remained strong and said 4:30.
I pull up next to her truck, and tell her to go ahead and get in my car and we'll leave her truck there. She's wearing a green top of some sort, no cleavage exposed, and jeans. I ask her if that's the provacative outfit she had referred to in some text msgs, she says, "No, I figured that's more of a 4th or 5th date type of thing."
I had planned to just go back to my place and watch TV/make out/have sex, but it seemed a bit early in the day for that so I asked her what she felt up to doing. She had just gotten off of work and had told me before that she would be tired, so she said "Anything is fine." So I drove us over to Putt-Putt Golf.
We played a game there, and she began probing me with some questions/talking about her ex-BF. This would become a trend throughout the night. Lots of "[censored] tests" I believe they are called, well later on. It started off with stuff like, "SO i hardly know anything about you, tell me more about you etc." Apparently her ex-BF was a gamer and "spent too much $ on games", and she half-jokingly said that if I still played Magic: the Gathering then I wouldn't have made it to a 2nd date. I'm starting to bore myself here, so I'll kick things up a notch. We wound up back at my place, on my bed, watching The Big Lebowski.
