you can not adjust you playing style based on running bad. if im running bad or im im running hot i still have the same percentage to hit my 9 out flush draw on the river. just because i havnt hit my last 4 doesnt mean that the 5th wont come in. treat each hand as a seperate and individual event and you should do fine. we all run bad at times and feel that we cant hit a card in the world to save out lives. but you know what theres a name for that, its Poker. just because you play more than someone else doesnt mean you should hit your draws more often. you both and an equal chance of drawing out just make sure you pot odds are right and you play within your bankroll and you will do fine in the long run
