Default Re: Well-known movies that famous people were in when they weren\'t fam

--You'll say, "Is that Jeff Goldblum?", if you watch California Split.

--I once started a thread, asking if I was the only one who didn't know Gandolfini was in Get Shorty. I got the impression that yes, I was the only one.

--Watched "Heaven Can Wait" this morning (not nearly as good as "Here Comes Mr Jordan", BTW). In one scene, Jack Warden is in his car, listening to the Superbowl on the radio. The radio announcer's voice is familiar, but I can't place it, so I wait for the closing credits. It was Peter Tomarken, the host from "Press Your Luck".

--Vinny 'Big Pussy' Pastore was an extra on "Goodfellas", pushing the rack of coats that the restaurant owner decides to store in the freezer. Gotta keep your eyes peeled to spot him. Also, Tony 'Paulie Walnuts' Sirico is in a few of the opening scenes, including the mailman/pizza oven scene.

--Bradley Whitford plays an annoying tv reporter in a few episodes of NYPD Blue's first season. You might remember David Caruso putting a gun to his face, and asking him if he can tell whether or not the gun is loaded.

--David Schwimmer also had a memorable part in that first season of NYPD Blue (NYPDB fans know this, but I doubt that others do). As did Anna Gunn (Mrs Bullock from Deadwood).

--Speaking of Deadwood, if you haven't seen "Sexy Beast" yet, go find a copy (Ian McShane as Brit crime boss).

--If any of these were too obvious, El D, you can yell at me, but I don't care if you like it or not.
