naturally, i'd buy a big-ass house where i could live in luxury.
then, i'd buy an old warehouse/factory type building, convert most of it into a living space for artists (musicians, painters, filmmakers, etc) who could live there for free, provided they're actually creating (kind of like the Chelsea Hotel). Outfit the place with a recording studio, some editing bays, and a theatre that would alternate between showing stuff other theatres around don't show and stuff made by the people who live there.
give a sizeable amount to my family so they never have to worry about $$ ever again.
pay off the debt load of everyone i consider to be even a casual friend.
fund film projects i find to be worthwhile and not care if they ever make any $$.
buy my poker-playing friends into the ME every year.
give my close friends important jobs like "Chief Executive in Charge of Alcohol Consumption and Distribution" so they won't have to go to their real jobs.
travel a lot.
