Default Re: OT: The Throwing vs Hitting Tennis Bet

[ QUOTE ]
So basically Ken, you would love to take this guy's money playing against him with a racket when he gets to only use his hands--let me guess, because you thought you were a heavy favorite. Had you investigated and found this to actually have been the case, you would have followed through and won the money. But, since you learned that the odds aren't what you initially thought they were, you pulled out of this bet.

In other words, you accepted the bet in the first place with the idea of completely freerolling Nick for his money. Who's the scammer here? I don't think it's Nick.

SOOOOOO true.

There's nothing more immoral than welching on a bet in this profession. If some sucker does it, that's a risk of gambling, but if a "pro" does it, YSSCKY.

Ken and bz and even poor Dominic got hustled. Now they should play for some amount. Why not just take the glove side, if it's such a lock? (Obv, Nick will hustle them somehow that way, but, still.)

A gamblers word is his life. I certainly hope no-one every thinks of staking or loaning these two "genius" stanford dorks. They might moral you out of your money.
