I prefer a slightly larger bet pre-flop, say to $12, because it makes it a little bit easier to play post-flop since you're OOP.

Also, a read would be helpful, but I think that the only hands you are behind are AA and TT, while JJ and QQ could easily raise this flop, since your 3/4 pot get could be read as a missed AK.
