SS:
Did you work at all on PTagg in general or its memory leak in any of the past 2-3 builds because my hand import rates have really improved from ~15K hands per hour to ~30K hands per hour.
btw on the memory leak..it doesnt always act like a leak. I havent studied this after the last 2 builds but I was having an issue where right after I started ptagg it would use 1GB of RAM as soon as it opened. This happened 4-5 times a few days ago.
Usually after a fresh start it uses ~200K and then jumps up ~1100K after 4-5 hours..
the memory leak seems better right now I've been running it for 5 hours and its only up to 667K from 200K -still leaking but not as badly.

this memory leak is a major problem for those of us that are power users of this program. please comment.
The reason why the memory leak is a huge problem is that you still cant multi-task ie import datamined hands say overnight while also importing into the SS PTAggregator at anything but a horribly slow hand import rate. PTagg.exe slows down to import rates of 1K-10K hands per hour from its usual 30K.
This needs to be addressed..why does ptagg.exe have such a nasty memory leak--it really hurts the utility of this program when the user is multi-tasking..and please dont tell me again for 6th time not to multi-task while using ptagg.exe -FIX the memory leak.
As it is right now I can't datamine overnight like I usually do and run PTagg.exe at the same time. PTagg.exe is useless when other apps are running.
For many of us SS is just one tool of many not the only tool-to have it disable my regimen is inexcusable especially after I just forked out $350 for the year for it -again please FIX the memory leak. I still love the program but this is a major problem.
The reason I'm harping on this is that to really utilize SS one needs to datamine regularly. That means ideally you need to utilize PTAggregator daily as well. To have PTagg be such a hog really is a problem..if we didnt need to use PTagg regularly it would not be a big deal.
