sorry to pile on with an similar opinion, but there is nothing at all about the OP's actions that warrants him making an apology. if anything, i admire his restraint. the absence of an explanation from her pretty much confirms the worst... i would however like to hear maybe a tad more about the state of their relationship before this to understand it a bit better because i am privy to several similar situations around me that involve cheating, and in every single one, the man was not treating the woman right for a long period of time before she strayed. there is a lot more to treating a woman right than just supporting her financially, and if you are not taking care of her needs, it is not a matter of if she is going to cheat, but when. but that is just speculation - in either case, i agree with an earlier post; the relationship is now over, has been over, and at least for me, i would NEVER be able to trust her again, regardless if i was treating her right or not before said transgression. it is very sad indeed, the girl could have at least the decency to end things before throwing the pussy around like a dirty tramp - i would have slapped her
