HSP season 1 = -$264,100

HSP season 2 = -$331,500

thats just his poker tally.

Gus doesn't hit a one-outer, which had nothing to do with DN making a loose preflop call, and that big negative might completely... negated?

Not to mention 43 vs. Deeb's 55 on a 2 3 5 3 2 board. He's also flopped at least FIVE straights, and a king high flush, and another set (besides the Gus hand) that all got drawn out on.

Yes, he's also had a few fortunate hands- stacking Tood with AQ vs. AK when the flop came queen high and Doyle with 88 vs. AA when he flopped a set on a 2-flush board in "steam" mode- and his postflop play hasn't been perfect, but overall his luck in that game has been terrible, and those net results are hardly the consequence of (and probably have very little connection to) his proclivity for calling re-raises with speculative hands, usually in position against another deep stack.

Yes, Daniel is stuck a lot because he's had some bad luck.

But I think Daniel would be stuck a lot less if luck was the ONLY factor involved.

Antonio and Barry Greenstein have both been on the bad end of some really unlucky spots, and neither is stuck anywhere as close to Daniel.

What if someone could have told Antonio in advance that he'd get AA five times, and manage to be all-in preflop most of the time with it, and still be stuck? Think he'd say that's some bad luck?

And yet he didn't lose very much at all, and left a winner yesterday (although I don't know if it makes up for his losses).
