Back to this hand, I don't think the way the Kid played it was as bad as people are saying.
First, there's no need to re-raise it PF, as Jensen is the only one left in the hand. If he re-raises, he pretty much defines his hand. Plus, there's no need to overcommit just because you have AA.
I think checking the flop was his biggest mistake. Yes, Hellmuth could have flopped a set, considering his starting hand selection, but I think you need to take the initiative with A-A here. If you get raised, then think about letting it go.
I don't blame him for the check on the turn now that the board got scary.
River was fine.

I loved the check on the flop. Too many people give away their hand with AA and Phil has already done the raising for him. The check gave him the best chance of maximizing his value with AA against a player like PH. However, the checks on the flop and turn were horrible. He has no idea where he is and he cannot just assume that Phil has hit a monster.. and Phil could be drawing here so he needs to make him pay. The odds are he's still very much ahead. Now if Phil reraises him, he might have some tough decision, but I just don't think Phil does this. He just calls. Anyway, Phil played it pretty standard and the guy could have gotten much more.
Onto the other three hands that they showed of Phil where he lost. The JJ/QQ hand seemed pretty standard and the fold was no big deal. He lost the minimum, but not because of any great way he played it. On the A6 hand, I'm not sure what he was crying about regarding getting bluffed and cold-decked. He played this one like [censored] and lost too much. I guess the turn only cost him $1k, but with a guy betting into two players and the 3rd player yet to act, it sure seems like there's a good chance he's drawing dead, plus even if he's not he'll be faced with a very tough decision on the river. Very surprised he called the turn.
The AQ hand confused me. Didn't he still have $2.5k left with blinds of no more than 50/100. Would the guy be forcing him all-in with AJ or AT? I don't see this, so either he's dominated or at best a 50/50 shot. Why does he think he must make this call other than the fact that he is tilting? Don't know if he's the best hold'em player in the world, but he's certainly the best player at this table.
How about when he gets raised by the TT guy and he rants how nobody will let him win a pot? Are guys supposed to just fold hands to him so he can win? Very strange.
