I don't know if you could rotate through the three hotels with poker room rates for an extended period of time but I would think rent would be reasonable.

Don't the local Tunica poker pros just sleep in their car?

No, that's Atlantic City.

I hear Chip's Inn in Harris, Michigan is a pretty happening place. They have 3 tables and the rake is 5% up to $3 max. It is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so you have to get used to the weird accent: aboot, yah, gee, etc. It is a real happening town, especially if you have a criminal record and are trying to hide out from the law, and you are only 6 hours away from St. Ignace, another gambling mecca. Northern Michigan casinos spread excellent games such as Pan-Gin-Rummy-Pineapple-Fruitcake Poker and Go-Fish-Go-Hunting and other popular local games. Occasionally when the games are slow, you may have to stand on the highway with a roadsign recruiting players, but dont worry, people from the UP are excellent drivers and if they do manage to side swipe you will almost always stop and courteously try to move you off the road to somewhere less conspicous.
