Re: Fossilman\'s Account Hacked?
Both sides of this argument have some merit as far as I can see, that's often the case with issues that are difficult to resolve. Everyone is entitled to an opinion - qualified or not. Whether that opinion sways some of the public or not is surely irrelevant in this case as I assume this doesn't go to a jury? There's nothing wrong with rebutting an opinion either.
To react to the general expression of opinion in a personal way is silly, to react to that reaction personally is silly. I would assume both you guys want to see the best for poker in the long run. Those making this a 2+2 Vs FCP issue or a 7 Vs rest of poker issue are descending to the level of the the churlish comments that sparked much of this off.
True, poker needs bad press at the moment like a hole in the head but players are also entitled to what they think is a fair deal also. It would just behoove such giants of the game not to react at the zero-th level and perhaps think about the reaction that their reaction might cause. The l-ego (legal ego) and m-ego (moral) should take a back seat and let intelligent debate drive.
