While I was at the Venetian last month, a few friends came to visit. We were playing 1/2 NL, craps, and blackjack and I couldn't win anywhere. I didn't want to leave the casino with $55 in chips, and the cage was way to far away to walk to for $55. I said "[censored] it, run it up or lose it". Somehow going home with $0 after gambling it away is better than cashing out for $55 when you're stuck >$1K.

So I put the $55 on black, and it hits. Next spin I ask the super-hot girl at the table what she thinks, she says black again as her boyfriend gives me one of those "nobody can talk to my girlfriend" looks. I leave it on black and it hits again. She cheers for me even though her BF had $500 on red. I ask her again and she says red this time, "definitely". I move the whole thing to red minus the $20 in red chips. I turn to my friends who are laughing it up at this point, and one of them says to play some numbers with the redbirds. So I let it ride on 5, 6, and 9 for $5 each. As I'm drinking my Jack and Coke, I look and the ball stops on red 5 and I yell SHIP IT! So now I'm up a ton on the $55 I started with. But [censored] it, one more spin. I do the same thing, 5, 6, 9 and red. The girl then tells me again that its coming black "definitely". So I tell the dealer to move my bet to black just in time. This time the ball stops on black 6, SHIP IT ALL.

Not a bad turn around on the night.
