I mean its about the easiest possible show you could ever film. Seriously, its just a goldmine. Its a straight 24 hour shoot over 2 days (roughly 2 12 hour sessions, right?), then just some editing and bring in the two hosts for 3 days of creating commentary, and bam, you are done.

The costs on this show must be super cheap. Each episode is probably about 60k to produce. I think with the prop fee its about 15k an hour for the players, I'm sure the casinos shove each other out of the way to have it hosted there (def free advertising...hell The Palms prob paid), and so on. I doubt the film crew is more than 5 people, and honestly its probably 3, so figure they are paying about 2k an episode for labor, 2k for equipment rentals, and well I got carried away and you get the picture.



This show is ridic cheap to produce. It would have to get like a .0001 rating to not turn a profit.

Its just a perfect show.

I bet they can bang out 12 episodes in less than a month for like 750k total cost, and I'm probably going too high here.

I'm amazed they don't just have new episodes every week like wrestling. 1 2 day session provides 3 months of episodes (12 total). Surely they could get a game once every three months and never have a gap in the programming.

What would really kick ass if they expanded to other games. They could probably risk trying to do a HORSE season or something different since it is so cheap to produce. I'm sure most of the market they have would watch. It would probably turn a profit too.
