There are two options in his spot. Fold, or move all in. When the raise is to 350K, he can't raise it to like 1M and then fold for 500K more. He risks 1.5M to win about 500K, and he's playing the hand essentially only for fold equity so moving in is the right way to do it. I think he'll fold the other two players in this hand way more than 1/4 of the time, so yeah: I think it's a good play.
