I'm not a lawyer, but I think this is why it's considered an antitrust lawsuit.
In other words, if the option were available for someone to negotiate with the same casinos that host WPT events to produce other televised tournaments, then they would be "fine" with choosing whether or not to play on the WPT and sign the release forms.
