Well, I was right. The doc has put me on the antibiotic Keflex. He doesn't want to the surgery until the infection is gone. The cyst itself is just an oil gland that got blocked and kept producing oil. Around the cyst is an infection. All of the puss from the infection is causing even more swelling and is the main cause of the pain.
And, about the nose hair, you should have seen the first pic I took. It was from a lower position and was quite unsightly.
