FG - Similar thing happened to me the other day. I was beating one level for a good ammount over 10k hands, but not as good as I though I 'should' beat it. But I was playing short-rolled. Then I lost a couple buy-ins to what I believe was bad play, and it upset me. The next day I moved down.
I'm now playing a level I don't like playing... actually, that's wrong. I don't like the idea that I'm an X player when I feel I should be an X+n player. But, truth be told, I'm much happpier where I'm at now even though it's tiny stakes. It's fun to destroy your opponents. And when you have the luxury of being the best player at your table and a plentiful bankroll behind you, it's really easy to learn from your mistakes. So now even though I'm playing for tiny stakes, I'm learning & getting better while rebuilding my roll. What could be better?
