I've been informed that Stars is allowing direct-buyins to the EPT Deauville event in a few weeks. Here are the terms that were sent to me via email:
"The direct buy-in conditions for the Deauville EPT are as follows:
* buy-in in W$ only
* player must have lifetime 10,000 FPPs
* Package does not include accommodation. Direct buy-in players are responsible for organising their own travel and hotel accommodation for this event.
If you are happy with that, then please email us to confirm that we can debit your account 4,000 euro this event. At present rates, this would be $4,826.60."

I'm assuming that since they allowed it for at least one player, they'll allow it for other players with 10,000 lifetime FPPs if you request it.
Anyway, I have some W$ that I'm selling for 92%. I plenty of W$, so you won't need to figure out where to fill out your balance in order to get a seat. You'd get into this event for $4440.47 (roughly $400 cheaper than regular $) according to the pricing above.
