IMO going pro has less to do with ROI and sample size ([img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]) than it does with one's ability to work hard, learn, and actually be motivated to enjoy such a path.

I mean look, suzzer quit his job randomly for a huge paycut but he really likes this poker thing and works very hard so it's more or less working out for him.

Oh, the decision is also made easier if you hate your job/school/etc, [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img].
