Am I using that word lightly, or are the conotations of "contemptable" too strong? Couldn't you also say that overeating is comtemptable, cheating on a test, lying to a friend, etc. Contemptable; this thing is wrong, bad, and should be actively discouraged. Promiscuity is comtemptable.
