Your implication to me is that the current administration is promoting the business of oil companies to the detriment of its citizenry. If I'm right about what your claiming then this IMO this doesn't add up to a move toward communism.

I agree communism isn't the best choice of words. I should of used totalitarian. However, I hope you can see the similarities between this behavior and China's behavior. China is well known for sensoring the internet and jailing people who say things it doesn't like. China is also known for erasing events from textbooks like the Tiananmen massacre. Is that clear enough adios? If now what word do you think I should of used?

I actually think you're leaning more towards a label of being facist. Sorry I don't want to start any kind of logical debate without at least starting on logical ground. Not saying I always start there but I try to.
Note that facist and communist regimes can both be totalitarian.
Totalitarianism
The reason I think you're implying facism:
Facism
Note the word "corporitism."
Corporatism
The implication that oil companies are wielding undue and unwarranted influence and power within the U.S. government seems to fit there with facism to me.
Revisionist history and such are in the realm of totalitarian governments. I don't think that the current administration is even close to that point btw.
Maybe I'm splitting hairs but I think alot of times miscommunication develops on these forums because people assume what the other person means and those assumptions are often erroneous.
