Interesting! It also shows that while some players thrive under the spotlight and expectations of NYC, others wilt underneath it.
I've always thought that Homosexual_Rod was way too much of a delicate flower to succeed in NY, but his talent may help him overcome the press for at least a few seasons. There was an article in the NY Times last week about his pretty boy-ness being a distraction to the team, and while I thought it was overkill, I'm also not nearly close enough to the subject to make an educated assessment...
