So, I am on Day 36 of cold-turkey not smoking. I feel like absolute [censored]. I want to punch everyone I see. Pretty much every little thing is pissing me off big time. I can't concentrate and I feel very depressed. I've been road raging at everyone on the streets.

Maybe you should try smoking in moderation. If you really enjoy smoking weed, you shouldn't force yourself to never do it again. If I was quitting right now, I might gradually try smoking once every other day, then every weekend, and then cut it down to once per week or so whenever you feel like relaxing by yourself or enjoying the company of a few friends. Anyway, good luck and keep us updated.

This is really bad advice.

If OP had asked for advice on how to quit smoking cigarettes, every one of you would have (rightfully) said to gradually smoke less and less each week until you can quit. This is exactly what the nicotine patches and gum is for. It is a long process that requires a lot of self control, but it can be done. Every scientific study has shown that gradually quitting, step by step, is the most effective means of quitting. I guarantee you that if weed was legal in the US, there would be companies releasing THC patch step programs to gradually get people to stop smoking weed. Contrary to what you may believe chesspain, gradually quitting over a period of time is not really bad advice.
