cyrus, if the lebanese govt. says israel has a right to exist then it shows it is not run by terrorists to the world and it gives it the credibility of a country trying to coexist. by not saying that and not actively trying to stop the attacks from hisballa, they are looking like a govt. that has no credibility and cannot control actions within its own borders. also it makes it clear to me at least that hisballa owns and runs the southern part. and by not at least trying to control the situation they cannot have credibility as the govt. that controls the country.
they could stand up and ask for u.n. troops or even another close by country to assist in regaining control. then the world sees them as moving in the right direction. instead of just trying to survive by not upsetting its people.
