any specific examples of where i havent used logic? was it when i pointed out to granny that it was grannydicksuckingminion central in here after granny actually called the 2 people dissenting against him "minions" while those agreeing with him would be "correct" i guess?

i would appreciate content over the general ass eating you guys seem to love wrt grannymae. maybe you guys can just throw blocks of 10k at him to lose over and over? im sure that must be an endearing practice. fwiw, i think if we played, the only advantage granny would have over me is that variance exists...

ok, PITTM.....Here’s what I see going on in this thread..........There are numbers of distinctly different issues being dealt with, and things have degenerated into another ZOO pissing contest.

Original Issue......

MS brought up the “Russ Boyd” thing again, in light of Boyd moneying in one of the WSOP events. So what’s the big deal in this? I’ll bet that since the last time that the whole shameful ‘Pokerspot’ fiasco has been discussed on 2+2, that there are at least five times as many posters/lurkers here, and I’d also bet that most of them have no idea of Boyd’s unsavory background.

With than in mind, I consider him bringing it to light more of a ‘public service announcement’ than anything else. We all know that it will NEVER be mentioned on TV for all of the obvious reasons, right?

As far as I’m concerned, knowledge is good, and periodically re-discussing issues such as this will do much more good than harm.

If someone doesn’t like it, no big deal, as they don’t have to either read or participate in the string.

Secondary Issue.......

It's clear (to me, anyhow) that ever since Granny called you out a few years ago regarding your admission of cheating in online card rooms, that you two are just never going to see eye-to-eye about this, and you will both go out of your way to continue to play this game of on-line 'one-upmanship' whenever either of you get the chance.

Your on-line persona’s have sometimes become caricatures of themselves in this regard, and it is to this point I spoke when I insinuated that you were not being ‘logical’. I mean it not as an insult to you, but as a description of the position you have taken, and my interpretation as to why you have taken that position.

I will add (my opinion only) that from what I can see, that you are taking this much more seriously than Granny, and quite frankly, I think you're getting your chain yanked.

I will also add, that I do believe that you have seen the error of your ways in regards to this issue. To be honest, this doesn’t mean that you should be given a ‘free-pass’ for doing it just because you had the honesty to admit it. Your sentence is being metered out over time.....It’s now time for you to be a man and accept that. There will be some who will never look at you in any way other than you are a cheat & scum. There will be some (and I am one of them) that will hope that you’ve learned a REAL lesson, and it will be reflected in the way you conduct yourself as an ethical, responsible adult in the future.

Time will tell......action talks and bullchit walks. YOU will be the only one who really knows....Live with it.

A little rant on my part here.....I am sick and effin tired of this new morality bs! Being right is not getting caught? Being wrong is getting caught?

It is my observation that there is a whole generation that contains a significant following to the above credo. I consider those who subscribe to this point of view to be selfish, self-serving sociopathic turds, and I wouldn’t piss in their mouths if their mustaches were on fire.

Boyd was made a substantial, legitimate offer from a serious potential buyer when he was flailing about. I know this because I know this person, and NO, I will NOT share anymore details of this.

Boyd is a rationalizing flim-flam man, and you know what? They are the easiest victims of a scam on the face of this earth.

He got an offer from another 'scamster' and fell for it, only for it to fall apart when it finally became evident that there wa no real substance to it.

I say this to put an exclamation point on MS's original post.

Boyd is a true sociopathic liar, and cannot be trusted in any way, shape or form.

The more people who know this, the fewer will fall for his bs.
