Re: value c/r river scare card?
No reads?
Preflop: Standard
Flop: I like betting out, but once BB raises and the whole field calls I think you should just call. On a coordinated flop in such a big pot I think your priority needs to be protecting your very vulnerable hand, rather than getting more money in the pot. This way, if you just call and a blank falls you can lead the turn with the expectation that BB will raise, and now you'll force all the gutshots and people holding a T to fold.
Turn: Well, I'd rather you try to protect your hand with a bet(expecting UTG to raise), but I think check/raising isn't that bad an option. With each additional raise on the flop a flush draw gains EV from you, but on the turn you gain from the flush draw. So at least you know you are probably getting value out of your action by check/raising.
River: I think you made the right choice by check/calling. Up until this point the button's hand has looked a lot like a flush draw, and he may now be going for an overcall from you. Also, considering how much action BB has put in against you I think you have to seriously consider the possibility that he has a set or possibly even QJ.
Just my opinion...
