Note the glee with which the US and Israel greeted the departure of Syria from Lebanon just a few short months ago. Syria had long acted as a voice of restraint in Lebanon and were a foil to the militants in that country. Now the Syrians have gone and we left with only one true para-military force.

Now, Israel has the gall to ask Syria to step back in.

Sigh, the Israeli's and we in the US, have no idea what to do in the middle east. Correction, the Israelis know what they want ---> land and more land cleansed of all except their kind.

The US have become the toady of the Israel. We can do nothing except ship them more arms and wring our hands. More shame on us!

If the Lebanon government has zero control over southern lebanon and do not act to disarm the Nasrallah's terrorist organization, we will have to do so.
