Ehh, no. With a choice between a freeroll for, say, 50 poker players or a freeroll for 50 poker players + 50 house game players, no-one in their right mind would choose tha later.

Seriously, I rather play against 99 people where 50 of them have no clue than 49 people who have a clue. Imagine if you're at a table where you have 7-8 of the no clue people at your table.

You must be reading the question wrong. In both cases (50 or 100 players) the prize pool is the same.
