It might depend on demand as well.
A few days before the ME last year I'm pretty sure they were running the $50's and $65's.
Pretty sure I played in one of the $65's.
If you tell them that you are interested in this level they might try to start one up for you.
That's pretty much how it works a lot of the time.
And it seemed to continue at the WSOP-circuit (many of the same people) when they came to Tunica. Couple would ask about STT's. And they would say, "What buy-in do you guys want?"
You probably won't be the only one looking to slum it down in the $50's.
But beware of the format. I think the stacks are even smaller in the $50's (only $800 start-chips instead of $1k in the $125's perhaps??).
