It has nothing to do with it. Trading with someone involves no coersion. Beating someone, raping them, or murdering them is exactly that.

Not equating them in terms of discrimination law, obviously, but just curious if the logic extends to all laws that attempt to coerce social interaction.
Also, do you know the history behind the Civil Rights act? I couldn't imagine anyone who doesn't, but this thread has me wondering if many of you ever heard of segregation, Jim Crowe, Rosa Parks, white and black water fountains, MLK, and the like.
