Negreanu Throws A Huge Beat Sending Shallow to the Rail
In what could be the most critical hand in today's event, Daniel Negreanu ($154,000) raises to $9,000 and Shallow ($113,000) raises him back in the big blind to $31,000. Negreanu makes the call and both players see the flop of J87. Shallow immediately pushes on the flop for his remaining $82,000. Daniel stands up and begins talking himself through the hand. He wonders aloud if Shallow has Aces, but after Shallow says, "Well, at least now I know I'm ahead...you are taking too long to call." Negreanu responds, "Well, that's definitely going to get you a call, bud," pushing the $82,000 into the pot.

Shallow turns over AA and Negreanu is drawing to five outs with KJ. A 3 leaves Negreanu asking for a King or Jack on the river and when the J hits, Shallow is sent to the rail and the $210,000 pot is shipped to Negreanu who ends the hand with $267,000.

I don't like that call at all.

Just another example of the "awesome" reads the pros make.

If you've watched Negreanu on HSP it seems standard.
