Im in Ohio so yuengling (PA) is pretty much local brewery stuff. I enjoy it though.
Sierra nevada pale ale I tried for the first time last week, while in pittsburgh, actually. The bartender looked at me crazy when I said I never heard of it. It was quite tasty though and I stayed with it for a while.
I would like to try more belgium beers if anyone has a recommendation. I will try dogfish head and sam smiths next time I'm out.

Well, there are Belgian beers like Stella Artois, and then there are Belgian abbey ales (trappistenbier) which are IMO amazing. My favorites are Grimbergen (the best beer I ever had was Grimbergen on tap) and Verboden Vrucht. Other good trappistenbiers/Belgian abbey ales are Corsondonk, Chimay. La Trappe (which is the only trappistenbier brewed in the Netherlands), and Leffe. Westmalle is very widely distributed as well, but it is too bitter for my (relatively unsophisticated tastes).
