We're the greatest at distrusting and/or outright loathing government, relatively speaking.

As for other countries, the only other one I've ever been to is Canada, and I really enjoyed it. There are pros and cons, and I'm not really sure where I'd rather live, but I do know that I'm not in a place in my life right now where I can really start touring the world and picking which country I'd like to live in. (Moving to a different country is a bit complicated)
Other than that, Switzerland and the Netherlands sound interesting, but again, I'm really not in a place to move right now.
