Why do you say that?

If you are a vegetarian for health reasons, that's one thing.

But if you are a vegetarian for moral reasons, there has to be something about the animal that makes it deserve not to be killed... what is it? It has to be to avoid "cruelty," or "torture," or other human concepts.

Paluka keeps saying he just prefers not to kill animals, but he doesn't say why. I suspect it's because there's some moral underpinning that gives animals "rights," or anthropomorphizes (sp?) them in some way.

But correct me if I'm wrong.

You're conflating the extreme (anthropomorphism) with just not wanting to kill things unnecessarily.
