If you have not wagered on large underdogs in the past, this is the sort of result you'll get once in a while. Remember, a spread loss of 25 has the same effect as a spread loss of 1 -- the only difference is the embarassment of talking about the former at work on Monday (or just avoid that conversation altogether). Then again, another perceived dreg of the league, the Bears, covered their line by a TD more than the Eagles did theirs. The NFL is strange like that.

Denver should have won this one by two TDs or more -- a sometimes powerful, sometimes sloppy performance by an undervalued squad going into this week.
